Stopping in for one night on our way through. Had a pull through site with water. Nice little full service park with a playground and walking trail

Very friendly, n nice little campground. Ended up stranded for the night due to vehicle breaking down and they were able to fit us in on 4th of July and didn't charge us for the couple hours we went past the checkout time due to truck being fixed.

Our daughter had a softball tournament in West Branch, with games on Friday, Saturday and Sunday and with it being an hour and a half drive from Cadillac, my family as well as most of her teammates families decided to camp here instead of making that drive every day. It's located in a great spot as it's only about 3 minutes away from where we played. Check in was easy and the woman who helped with the check in(the owners daughter)was friendly and helpful, as was her dad who came in halfway through. We had no issues at all and it was a nice place to stay. I don't think they have any sites with sewer hook ups which isn't a deal breaker for me as they have a dump station you can use on your way out. One thing I didn't care for and I'm only stating in hopes that it'll prepare anyone reading this before getting there, is that instead of the water and electric hookups being at the back end of the site like most places, they are at the very front of the sites, so close to the road. Thankfully, I carry two fresh water hoses, one shorter one and one longer one, as well as I had made a 50 foot extension cord made of the same gauge wire as the campers wiring, so it wasn't a huge issue for us, however I recommend that you have a longer hose or extension for these sites. Overall, we were really pleased with our stay here and in fact have already booked the same site for another tournament in July.
