This river is so fun to float on. With Alcona Canoe Rental, you pick one of the available "launch" times and you need to be prepared to leave at that time. We have been here several times now and we always leave the parking lot to head to the launch site right on time. They are timely and really organized. We have been really impressed with our visits there and look forward to more trips next year. I highly recommend this business as they really make it a good experience.

Our group of friends have used Alcona for 5 years. We throughly enjoy the experience every time! This year we changed it up and used the 6- man rafts. They were awesome!

My family had a great trip. We used a raft and I would definitely recommend it if you have young children. My teen in the tube was cold. He didn't want to be in the raft with the kids. We still had an awesome time. The river was deep and fast moving so I would definitely recommend that children have life vests.

Great day kayaking on the river! Staff was fantastic & answered all of our questions to make us feel comfortable and safe on our first trip. The scenery was beautiful! Can't wait to go back and do a tubing trip when the water is warmer!
