From North jct Hwy-414 & Hwy-14: Go 3-1/2 mi N on Hwy-14, then 1-1/2 mi NW on Hwy-14A, then 1 mi W on Church Rd, then 1/4 mi N on Cross Rd.
People partying up past midnight. A man peed in the road in front of my children. Another woman used the grass behind our site as a bathroom. 2 People were fighting. This was a horrible place to bring children I'd never stay again. Children ride bikes and scooters faster than the car speed limit with no helmets darting constantly in front of vehicle. It's a law suit waiting to happen. Did I mention People crossing to the bathrooms using our campsite entire time. Try anywhere but there!
I have been coming here for going on 2 years. Sam does alot for kids and something going on every weekend. The kids don't pay attention to cars, just go in front of you, but that's on the parents. There is. a 5 mph spend limit, if caught you will be told to leave. I just bought a camper from Sam, he will work with you on it, the park is well kept, but there is sites that don't but that's because of the one's on the site, not Sam's. There is a small store, game room and heated pool, kids must be supervised at all times when at the pool. I enjoy all my time we are at it. I give it a 5 stars
Cabins leak, moss on roofs, electrical issues!!
Pool, My son's toes got cut up!!
Chased, buy the owner !! For going 7mph !!
Hay ride's and train ride's, Owner/ operater was going to fast for kid's to be on !!
Big safety issue!!
00000 Stars. I can't even Rate this place, even take a picture of it. Don't WASTE your money. They do not have parking by the cabins for the people who are handicap. That can't walk far. They were unable to keep there car by the Cabin, and have to park far away, and somehow manage to walk to the restroom and back to the cabin. That is not even close, to the cabins like the campground said they were. And the other guests will call and complain that if you pull up to unload your vehicle, and expect you to carry your baggage to the cabin. It's not a good place for anyone who is Handicap and have to use oxygen.
There are still good people in this world. Sam is one of them, and lucky for you, he owns this campground.
Not only did Sam stay late to get us a site at his campground after an exhausting day of travel and a miscommunication on the place we originally booked, but he helped us with our hitch on our way out of town. Thankful for the hospitality and the genuine kindness. Definitely recommend this campground as a landing spot to explore the Watkins Glen area!
