I recently stayed at Gardner Hill for nearly a week. Accessibility to the location is good - the road that the campground sits on is a little unsettling with a motorhome as the road is narrow and the drop off on the sides is very steep - so coming up on another vehicle can be a test of fate - however, it is a very quiet road and I only encountered oncoming vehicles a couple of times.
The weather was dry the whole time we were there, so we didn't encounter issues regarding mud. Yes, other reviews are correct that there are no stone pads, but this did not affect our stay.
What affected our stay was the incredible views, quiet environment, and sincere hospitality. A+ service!!
May not be 5 star, but very nice place and owners. I would suggest not going up Jerusalem Hill way, very steep and curvy, especially with a camper.
The people who own this property are very inviting and very friendly. They have a nice beautiful place to stay at a moment's notice and the view is incredible. Highly recommend for any family or people who want to camp and have an adventure.
worst place to camp because there is no gravel underneath your trailer or around your area so you can enjoy your stay you will be worried about getting dirt inside your camper I would not consider this as a park.
Worst place to park a camper or RV the place does not have gravel to park a trailer you are parking on grass / dirt to me it looks like they don't have the time or money that you pay them to park your rig/ trail to have a nice gravel park I heard that they are going stay open this winter but do not know how campers could come here with out get stuck in the winter or any condition of rain this picture you will see what I am talking about
