Our family loves Panhandle Lake. It is a wonderful 4-H Camp and so close to home.
Well maintained camp for 4H'ers. I'm not a huge fan of all the spiders, but I recognize I was in their space.
I also happened to see that someone had written their name on one of the bunks back in 2011- it's not often someone shares my name; much less often someone shares my spelling. That was fun to see!
Great fresh water lake, staff very friendly. Definitely a nice campground for big events.
I have been bringing kids here for years, what a wonderful experience. Last year I was there for lowering the flag on the last day, what a humbling experience seeing the love of this camp. Every child should be able to experience this.
Volunteered at the Kids Fishing derby. This Camp is a really cool spot. Tucked away in a very serene environment. The staff is very accommodating. The fire pit area is tucked on the edge of the woods. It has bench seating with backrest all the way around. There are two docks and a swim platform. The H dock has a shallow gravel beach. Plenty of life jackets for all sizes. There are canoes, kayaks, and paddle boats. Definitely check this place out.
