Merge onto US - 101 N via Exit 104 toward Aberdeen/Port Angeles (6 miles) Merge onto US - 101 N toward Shelton/Port Angeles (26 miles) Waterfront at Potlatch will be on the right hand side just after the Cushman Power House.
We chose this place as a stopover for one night on our way north, and it was pretty much what we expected. However, the "view" from our deck wasn't the shoreline we expected, but the tops of at least seven RVs parked behind us. And since the highway is literally feet from our door, there was highway noise all night (maintenance trucks, log trucks, ...).
It served its purpose as a stopover, but didn't offer much else.
The view was great until they parked an RV in front of us. No air conditioning and it was hot so we left the door open and it was extremely noisy with cars and trucks going by all day as you're right off the road. Even with the door closed it was very noisy. Then one day, the mower and trimming was going for 3-4 hours and we couldn't close the windows or sliding glass door because of the heat. There's no carpet to help absorb the noise. The room was exceptionally clean except for the floor. I could see feet and toe marks left on the floor. I went barefoot in the room and my feet were black. We went for the view and rest and we definitely didn't get rest. We were there for three nights. The staff was great. The location is great. You're only 10-15 minutes from Shelton so there's lots of places to eat besides Hoodsport. The casino is there also with excellent food. Too bad they didn't have carpet to absorb the noise and air conditioning so you could close the doors and no huge RVs that block the view. Wish the balcony was open also instead of enclosed. The clubhouse looks great. We probably won't go back?
What a beautiful stay. The views from our cabin were amazing. The staff were super friendly and helpful. I will definitely be going back. Rooms were clean and bed comfy with tons of pillows. So easy to park. Perfect.
Lovely! We stayed overnight in one of the rooms. Nice, spacious, clean and pleasant. There were a few very small items that could have been different but nothing to prevent my returning and staying again. Highly suggest this location! The staff was amazing, upbeat, quick, helpful, smiling and pleasant!
I just stayed here overnight but will definitely be back. The location is superb; right at the water's front. It was nice and quiet for me when i stayed and clean. The room was nice sized. I was on the second floor so i had a covered balcony which was great since it was raining when i was there so i could have my coffee under cover. Highly recommend if you want a place with a water view.
