Love going here just to have a relaxing few hours at the lake or for overnight camping!

They have put out houses out but limited spots available to camp due all people living in RV and squatting...trash loud rude people who drung randomly shoot at you with real guns and live ammo ....can't fish or park stay in one spot for long due squatting claim it's ter area you don't belong and they steal vandalism and target practice on you camp site...many needles and trash outhouse are nasty not family spot not safe not regulated called local law enforcement they never showed up beware

Fantastic, really had a great time. It's also extremely romantic and great for a weekend getaway.

Great place to camp, peaceful and quiet. Some "white-trash"/squatters, but they keep to themselves. The only real complaint is the excessive trash everywhere, broken glass, and unkempt bathrooms... views are great, people are mostly friendly, and area is peaceful.

we went on the most perfect weekend. it wasn't crowded. our site was kinda up front but there was tons of spots on back. it's very quiet. there was a port a potty at every site and a trash gatherer. that's it. the rest is you and wilderness. we walked the banks for drift wood, fished and watched the sunset and stars with the telescope and the sunrise. there also is no charge to stay here. I would recommend this place to anyone. it's about 5 mins once you pass the 33 bridge.
