Wyeth Campground is a beautiful site, fully paved, among Douglas-fir and bigleaf maple trees, with access to hiking on Wyeth Trail #411 and Gorge Trail #400 via Wyeth/Gorton Creek Trailhead. It offers 13 individual sites and 3 group sites. All but 2 individual sites are reservable up to 6 months in advance. Sites 1 and 2 are available on a first-come, first-served basis only. Most days between Memorial Day and Labor day are fully booked. No hookups. No water. Please come prepared and bring the water you will need with you. The Wyeth area was an early settlement site and was later used as a CCC camp in the 1930's and a Conscientious Objector camp in the 1940's.

This is a nice trail head. No water, no electric, no showers, bring your own fire wood and enjoy the spacious camping. Public restroom 24 seven. Animal friendly camping.
Check my YouTube @WaterfallWhispering for a vid on this area’s waterfall hikes! You won’t be disappointed!!!!
Nice compact campground. The sites themselves are relatively spaced out so you do get privacy from other sites. You will hear the highway traffic in the distance, it’s not too bad. There is also a railway line that goes along the interstate which gets quite loud especially with the horns. If you’re a light sleeper, keep that in mind. The restrooms had flush toilets but no running water when I went (it was mentioned on the website as well). Restrooms aren’t the most well maintained. The road is well paved throughout the campsite. There is a hiking trail located inside the campground. The best thing I would say is the location since it’s right on the Columbia River Gorge very close to the waterfalls.
