South onUS 95 from Homedale, ID to Leslie Gulch Recration Area turnoff (McBride Creek Rd), then west for 25 miles to Campground. Note: roads may be impassable when wet.
Beautiful! The weather wasn't the best, snow flurries and wind so we couldn't get out of the car
Looking forward to seeing it again with sunny skies, so that we can explore the many trails.
Absolutely stunning scenery, the mountains were unreal and the night sky was second to none. My only complaint was the inordinate amount of flies that bordered on making the experience unenjoyable. I don't know if that's the norm there for this time of year but they were absolutely awful. They dissipated when the sun went down, but there were swarms of them all over everything in the daylight hours.
