The men's vault toilet didn't have a seat. The flies were horrendous and ruined our meal. The trail heads were difficult to find, and the trails were impossible to follow. The rock formations are beautiful. Take your time driving in and enjoy the beauty!

Long gravel road leads to interesting rock formations and desert scenery. Pit toilets in campground don’t have TP, bring your own. Flies were terrible in hot part of the day. Our fly trap caught at least 300 and there were more to be caught. They calm down in cooler hours. Bring screen enclosure if that bothers u. Water was low and not clear, but we kayaked and swam. Half the sites in the campground had shade/table covers and half do not. There’s overflow camping closer to the boat ramp. Juniper Gulch hiking trail was the highlight. Planning to go back in spring when wildflowers are out .
