We wanted a place to play in the snow without battling crowds, and this was it. Kids brought sleds, but there weren't any significant hills clear enough to sled. There had been a recent controlled burn recently and there were still a few piles smoldering. If I had brought cross-country skis, I would have liked to explore a bit more.
