From Hwy 97 & Hwy 31, go 28 mi E on Hwy 31, just past MP 28.
What a gem! Owner Patty made us feel like family. The park is rustic, with a side of funky - but quiet, and beautiful. Some might find the accommodations a bit dated for their tastes, but if you want to enjoy America off-the-beaten-track, at least stop by and visit the general store. Loved it!
They have a restroom and that's great, if the store had consistent hours, then I would have given them 5 star's,
But I never seem to show up when they are open and I've knocked and rang the buzzer, but nobody came to open the store,more than once now.
Awesome gem right off HWY 31. Campground is beautiful and the view is fantastic! You can tell a lot of hard work has been done here to keep everything maintained so well. I highly recommend anyone come camp here and enjoy what nature provides!! Clean and crisp water on tap. Bathrooms are super clean and I simply walk my trash to the dumpster. Super relaxed atmosphere. I'd give it a 10/10 if I could. Just make sure to leash your dogs outside and be respectful of the manager and host.
