Clear Springs is located one hour 10 minutes southwest of Paisley, Oregon. Clear Springs, elevation 5400 feet, is an undeveloped forest camp situated right along Dairy Creek. There is one picnic table, fire ring, and one vault toilet, including a variety of dispersed camping spaces. This camp is primarily used by hunters during hunting season. You can fish for rainbow trout in Dairy Creek. There is also a natural spring that bubbles up about 1/4 mile down the road from the camp. Alert : There is no no potable water. Visitors need to pack plenty of water. Also, there is no garbage service. Remember to “pack it in, pack it out.”
From Paisley, OR head west on Mill Street. Mill Street becomes Forest Road 33. Stay to the left and continue on Forest Road 33 for 20 miles. At the "T" intersection with paved road 28, stay to the left. Take Forest Road 28 for 2 miles. Just before crossing Dairy Creek, take a right on Forest Road 047. Go 4 miles on Forest Road 047 to a pull-off marked "Clear Springs". From Lakeview, OR take Highway 140 west 3 miles, and then turn right onto County Road 2-16. Go on County Road 2-16 for 5 miles. Turn left onto County Road 2-16A and within 2 miles, you will be on Forest Road 28. Follow Forest Road 28 for 19 miles. Just after crossing Dairy Creek, take a left on Forest Road 047. Go 4 miles on Forest Road 047 to a pull-off marked "Clear Springs". From Bly, OR head east on highway 140 and turn left onto the Campbell Road (.5 miles past the ranger station) and go for 0.5 miles to Forest Road 34. Turn right and drive 19 miles to Forest Road 3428. Turn right and go 2 miles to Forest Road 047. Go left 0.5 miles on Forest Road 047 to a pull-off marked "Clear Springs".
