On the Wild and Scenic Clackamas River. The campground is a compact single loop through cedars, maples, and alders. A couple of berry patches suggest good picking in late-summer. Some of these sites have great views of the river. Recreation activities include fishing and whitewater rafting.
In Estacada, OR, at the intersection of State Rts. 211 and 224, take Rt. 224 east and go 14 miles to campground on left.
How ironic this should pop up. The whole forest has burned down since our Labor Day visit.😩
We walked in today, it's starting to grow back.
The pit toilet was even unlocked😁
Nice little spot next to the river we have stayed there about 4 times over the years
