Had a great first time XC skiing experience. It was easy to get to the Teacup snopark from the highway. The day we went there was no snowfall so we were fine in our sedan without chains/awd. You can get the ODOT SnoPark pass from the Pine Grove gas station on the way from Hood River. Parking was plenty available at 12:30 pm on a Saturday. The tails were well groomed and people were very helpful. For a beginner the greens are fine but the blue called Grayjay is best! It was groomed the whole way and is rolling hills so you go a little faster but you know you’ll stop. On the way there you’ll have opportunities to see Mt Hood and Mt Adams.

Cross country skiing paradise! Great place to bring the family to learn to ski. Variety of groomed paths with ski tracks and beautiful views. Visit the website for a downloadable map, or pickup a printed copy near the restrooms and warming shelter.

Loved this snow park. Need a sno-park (parking permit) for parking. It was our first time trying xc ski. This place is very well maintained and great for beginners! We had lots of fun.
