Such a charming, convenient and hospitable facility. Camped for a night and spent the day working remotely from the meadow. Chatted with a couple staff members and got a tour of the garden. Went for the mile loop trail around the property on my lunch break. Cooked my meals in the converted city bus common area. Can't wait to come back and rent a yurt!
Bella (hope I didn’t get it wrong), Tobias, and Hunter were the best host ever. They answered every question and very tentative to whatever was needed. It is a peaceful vibe all around.
I can’t wait to revisit!!!
There were people walking around in there underwear, coed showers and bath house, and a jam session that started after dark. If you are a child of the 60's and drop acid still this is probably a great place for you. If you want to camp. Hike, and enjoy nature this probably isn't the best spot for you.
We loved it here! Spent 2 nights at the campsite in our tent. It was very quiet, and the facilities were great. There are private and shared communal bathrooms (with showers!), and an old bus that has been converted into a shared kitchen. Lots of neat spots to hangout on the property. In the main building, you can also purchase basic essentials such as shampoo, toothbrushes, etc. Had a wonderful time.
I stayed in one of the heated yurts in early February and had a great time! The yurt was clean, cozy, and warm. The bathroom and kitchen facilities were great, and the grounds of the farm are really beautiful. Zigzag Mountain Farm is really close to Timberline and other skiing areas on Mt. Hood and many different hikes--made it really convenient to get outdoors! The onsite staff were also really kind and helpful throughout our stay. Would definitely recommend staying here for a winter getaway, and I'm sure it would be great during other seasons too!
