Camp Wilkerson is such a treasure. It is close enough to town to get supplies but far enough away to feel like you are truly getting a break from everything. I will warn you that you won't have cell reception out there. But we all need a break from that occasionally. They have reasonably priced cabins, three-sided Adirondacks, and plenty of open tent spaces.

Excellent park, had a lovely time there!

The camp hosts were very kind.

The tent sites are packed in pretty close to each other. We booked a few sites right by each other so we would have a little more space to ourselves.

Not a complaint, just something to be aware of if planning to camp here.

Mainly for horses and horse camping. Not a lot of trails for hiking. Area has been logged trees are small and no real attractions or good views of the surrounding area. To summarize minimal trails through logged forest. Setup is mainly for horse campers and a little trail riding.
