From jct I-80 (Colfax exit) & Hwy 174: Go 4 mi N on Hwy 174, then 1 mi E on Orchard Springs Rd.
Bathrooms well maintained. Showers available. Love the lake. Fun time!
It's a wonderful place to camp but there is no rooms no service no luxury no hotel. There is a nice lake a boat launch and nice view if you go to the right place. Be aware of the poison oak and have fun.
Another great campout the 1st weekend in August fulfilled. Building unique and priceless memories that last a lifetime. Never allow anyone or anything to steal your joy life's way too short. Godspeed.
My family and I only stayed here for one night and we were not disappointed at all. Lots of trees and shade, very clean, and flushing toilets with coin showers. I don’t like that they’re only one bathroom for the entire campground but they clean it every day. And they have a trash service that rides around to pick up what you got. And shout out to Sarah at the front for providing impeccable service. Oh and they also sell firewood up front :)
Nice place to camp near the lake. Bathrooms had coin-operated showers and were reasonably clean. Lots of tall trees give just enough shade that one can move their chairs to follow the shade all day...
