Small family campground on my farm (38 feet or less in length) near Omaha Nebraska with interstate access (I-80, Exit 426) offering extended stay site availability for those needing. Rural setting offers peace and quiet at the end of the day and a campground tailoring to the traveling professional.NO concrete all rural and natural with limestone roads. 50Amp service and water at all sites with weekly tank dumps.
Entrance to the campground is the second entrance south of the farmhouse. All camp sites are located on the south end of the campground and are easily accessible by staying left upon entering. Each site has it's own marker with number. Enjoy!
This is a wonderful little campground. Corey is a very kind host. We enjoyed being right by a trailhead to a fun walking path. It’s peaceful and quiet yet not far from anything you would want to do in Omaha and the surrounding area.
I am a travel nurse and needed a place to stay from August until end of October and Corey had a spot for me with water, electric and once a week he has a guy come and empty your Gray and black tanks. Better pricing than all the other places we called.
I've only been here for 2 weeks and this man is nothing short of amazing. When we first arrived, he showed up and helped us get into our spot and get settled. After a week and a half, He had a spot with Septic hook up open up and since I was next in line he asked if I wanted it. Of course I did! So he prepped the spot for me and when my husband came up for the weekend, we were able to move into the spot! Corey helped us back into the spot and hook up! We suddenly started having issues with our ACs not working and this man helped us troubleshoot for 12+ hours to get it fixed. Even loaned us a portable AC until we could figure it out! This man bent over backwards to help us. Low and behold it was as simple as a stupid EMS fuse. (We checked the other fuses I promise). He is such a great person and it is such a great place. So close to hiking and trails! The mopac trail head is literally across the street! It's very quiet here which is perfect for all shifts! Highly recommend this place!
We camped here one night of a cross country road trip a couple nights ago. We had a great stay and Corey was really nice. The on-site porta potty was really clean. Well kept facilities. Potable water. Corey even gave us some of his goat soap, which I’m loving. Thanks Corey!
This place is awful. Water has sand in it and also smells of sulfur. Ticks, fleas, flies. Didn't cut the grass. We were up on top of the hill and the only ones that got cut is on the front. We were there for 27 days, 27 too many. It's like Corey is watching you all the time. Creepy he has a contract for propane and sewer. They weren't reliable. I would not recommend this place.
I stayed at Omaha Campsite for 3 months while working as a travel nurse. Corey was absoutely amazing. Any issue I had, he was right on it. Corey went above and beyond what you would think a campgrounds owner would do. During tornado warning, he even offered his basement to stay in. If I'm ever in Omaha again, I will for sure go to Omaha Campsite! Where can you stay where you have goats, a horse, chickens, and dogs, tell you good bye every morning and greet you in the evening? This site is very close to a nice trail. Easy to walk and pretty a well. I completly enjoyed my stay there
I was sad to leave. Thank you Corey for everything you did.
