A new campground just one block from charming downtown Ashland, Nebraska
Very nice and clean, pull through sites, concrete. Each site has a picnic table and fire pit. Level...grass is brown but I'm sure it's beautiful when it isn't. Once the trees mature and produce shade it will be an excellent place! Although it's very nice now.
Great campsite near town. All of the other reviews tell the story well, so I will focus on what the other reviews aren't saying. First, it is right next to some pretty great mountain biking trails. If you are stopping through and have your bike, you won't be disappointed. Second, if you have kids, there are a handful of geocaches in walking distance of the campsite. I didn't think my kids would be into it (haven't ever done it before), but they loved the treasure hunt.
This is the best place we have ever stayed. Very friendly, clean, love the pools and hot tub. The scenery is just breath taking all the way around . Great to bike ride, great play areas for the kids. Clean individual bathrooms with shower. Laundry room clean. Beautiful like lounge with deck off the store . Complementary coffee, I loved waking up and walking to get my coffee and set out on the deck each morning. This is a great location close to My. Rushmore, crazy horse, Custer state park, close to the town. Thanks for the wonderful time.
I’m always looking for a place to stay when I drive out west from Chicago and no idea why I’ve never stayed here before. this place is so much nicer than the campgrounds in Lincoln or Omaha. the bathrooms are new and clean. the campground is quiet (there’s the occasional freight train but that was more background noise) and all the sites are cement and green grass around. amazing!
This campground was fantastic! Fairly new with concrete pads, spacious sites, walking distance to Ashland Main Street. Glacier Till Cider & Winery had great tacos & cider!! We even bought some for the road!! 🍻 The camp host met us as we came in & gave great directions to our site! Great park! Will definitely stay again!
