Small park in an odd area with limited access to river. When we stopped to check it out for a future booking on saturday around 1 pm, no one was around. No staff ar the office or on the grounds. Appears to be a few full timers scattered amongst the whole place. We will not be booking a stay here.
There was no one at the entrance to the park so I was driving through looking at different sites. All of a sudden somebody pulled up in a golf cart and the man got out and started yelling at me. I tried to tell him I was just looking at the different sites and he said do you have a membership here and I said American Camping doesn't that mean everyone? He got rude with me and I told him I would never stay at this place because of how rudely I was treated. If you're going to be a private campgrounds it needs to be posted before you go into their park.
We didn't stay here, just drove up to see if it is some place that we want to stay at. We definitely will.
Management was rude and unprofessional. The facilities are run down and need updating. No signs that say it's a private resort and major lack of communication. Great for a short stay but terrible for monthly or long term.
It was very quiet. The dish network that we have wouldn't work in the spot that we had due to the trees. The showers were very clean. The location is hidden so that was a little difficult at first.
