Had a great time with family. Loved the sandy beach. We will be going back.

Absolutely lovely lake! Hope I don't encourage too many people to visit, as it's got a # of peaceful, quiet places without too many people @. Boating, loads of shady picnic/camping/rv.spots! Looked like good fishing & swim spots. Just outside of Barnsdall/Hulbert area. Good break if u visit Pawhuska. Very clean! Not the mudhole Keystone is. Well maintained roads. Bring ur food 'cause we didn't see places to eat.

Nice, quiet area for swimming. Bathroom facilities top-notch. The beach at Birch Cove has more sand and less rock underwater, but still a safe environment for the family.

The beach has a lot of rocks mixed in with the sand, but it's quiet and the swim area is great for kids to splash around on a hot day. There is a $5 fee, and there are no lifeguards. Restrooms are new, but just the basic pit toilet type.

Absolutely awful place to attempt to swim. The beach is ludicrously rocky and the rocks are huge, some bigger than my spread palm. Make sure you wear sturdy sandals if you visit and maybe bring a shovel or sturdy rake to make a flat place to sit.
