Located off I-44 at Elgin. Drive west 4 miles to Bonnifield Rd, located north of city.
The website is very deceiving. There certainly were not the number of campsites listed and it looked like most people a extended stays - maybe very long extended stays. Save yourself the trouble and go elsewhere.
Old and everything is decaying. You can still use the boat ramp but, no where to tie your boat up without damage. SMH! Where the hell is all the money 💰 going for up keep?
It use to have a small park, a nice little store and real restrooms with running water and showers. :-( But since the city of Lawton has taken over that lake there isn't anything out there for the campers and their families. You are lucky if you find a a plastic stinky portable potty or a picnic table at a campsite. The city of Lawton should do better on keeping all of our lakes updated and more inviting so more people would enjoy coming to them from all over. When both of our lakes were state ran they were better taken care of, kept updated and were cleaner. I'm very disappointed in the way the city of Lawton has let our lakes go, we have beautiful lakes for families to all enjoy if only they were better cared for.
Love this place for fishing. No public restrooms. There is a boat dock. They keep it pretty clean. You can camp here and there is a side that you can swim on. No bbq grills or tables
