We had a guide for Stripper fishing like we do every year. We caught our limit 60 fish in 2 1/2 hours. Our son helped with his 2 boys and their friend. We kept them both busy.

I highly recommend this place. It has a cafe on the dock that opens at 5:30 am or 6 am. Grab a bite of breakfast before you go out. Great Food. Reasonable Prices. Or eat lunch when you return and the guide has cleaned your fish.

If you have never been fishing don't worry the guide helps you learn. He gives you a rod with bait on it and tells you what to do. If you need help getting your fish in he will help you.

It is extremely exciting and enjoyable. I can't wait till next year. Thank You Son for it.

They were very busy on Friday night and are under new ownership. We had to wait over an hour for drinks and a couple of us just ordered a glass of wine. Because of it being so hard to find good waitstaff right now, they did not have enough working, and the workers seemed new. The food was good though. Fun atmosphere. I hope they work out the kinks.

First let me start by saying this is a good place to stay if you are on a fishing trip. No complaints about the stay.

What I am complaining about is this. We used 2 dishes from the trailer, 1 pot and 1 spoon. I recieved and email after our stay stating that I would be charged 150.00 for dirty dishes being left. I washed these 2 dishes myself with a rag from the master bathroom since there was no sponge or rag in the kitchen. I did this in the morning before we left.

The first thing I was told is that the house keepers found more dirty dishes than a pot and spoon wich is a flat out lie. Then the next thing I get told is that since the dishes were still wet, they are considered dirty.

After arguing this charge 3 seperate times on the phone they offer to split the charge. So basically they made an addtional 75.00 for drying off a pot and spoon.

We will not be staying here again.

So disappointed in the restaurant, menu is very limited and no longer serving breakfast. They think offering a brunch on Sunday’s is making up for it. Use to be a great place to come off the lake to eat but again for the start of their second summer the new owners have failed big time.
