Back for another review! I started off going once a year about 6 years ago to Norway Point (Pelican Lake Resort) and everything keeps improving year after year! Now it's an easy 2-3 times a year. Each for a week at a time! I've been on fly-in fishing trips in Ontario and those are nothing compared to the quality fishing Pelican Lake has to offer! However a big part of this experience is due to the hardworking manager JP! He makes sure your comfortable, informed on the latest bite, and is ready to help at a moments notice! Cabins are comfortable, boats rental are REAL fishing boats and not just a chunk of metal that floats, and the price is great! Couldn't recommend more and look forward to many more trips throughout the years!

The resort has a comfortable and homey feel. Not too big, not too small, just the right size. There are multiple docks for boating and fishing, along with free use of kayaks, a canoe, and a paddle boat. The lake is beautiful and great for fishing. It’s also the perfect location for a home base to explore the nearby national park and forests. The Birch cabin was nice and perfectly cozy for my husband and me. The pizza was delicious and it was nice to be able to grab a drink at the bar. I highly recommend the root beer float (try the 21+ version if you’re adventurous 😉)!

Our family of 6 (now 7 👶🏼) Has been coming here for 3 years now. The lake and fishing are great. The boat provided is wonderful. The property is great. The cabins are well sized and the manager (JP) Is incredibly nice and seems to always be available if you need him. My only issue is the cleanliness of the cabins. I'm assuming there isn't a professional cleaner than comes in. They're clean as if it was a personal cabin. Where I would be comfortable with the amount of.. 'grime' left behind. But I can't help but picture the many, many, people before us and how well things were actually cleaned before. The sheets and towels are clean and overall it's always been a good experience. Just wish I didn't have to bring along a cobweb duster and bleach scrub in my vacation bag.

Only suggestion I have for the actual owner is to consider baby locks on lower cabinets. Theyre easy and cheap. Seems so simple, but as a popular family get away- I can't imagine how much of a difference it'd make for the family if they didn't have to find ways to block them for themselves.

See you again next year! 💜

We had a great time at Norway Point! JP was awesome. Anytime we needed anything he was on it. Having free access to kayaks, canoes, paddle board and paddle boats was a pleasant suprise. Also bait and ice are included with the stay so lots of fishing was done right off the end of the dock! Close to the the national park so easy drives there. The buildings are a little run down and could use a fresh coat of paint, but JP is working on getting the place spruced up. The customer service and amenities far outweigh the dated cabins. You also need to try the pizza, made by JP him self. So delicious!! Check it out, you won't be disappointed!!
