Colorado State Wildlife Areas require either a hunting, fishing or land permit for use.
Some awesome fish, if you can find them. Pretty finnekie during an Ice fishing derby. Fantastic views east into Cameron pass and west into Rabbit ears pass. It's real hard to beat north park for the beauty and fishing.
Well, I really don't want to say anything about this lake,since Colorado has been getting so overcrowded with people,and REALLY don't want that to happen to this lake...but WOW! What a beautiful lake!!!! Also, Kudos to the Park Ranger!!!
I travel from Fort Collins quite regularly, I really enjoy this lake year round, beautiful area! Good town and folks, I've never had a bad experience.
