The 100 acre park is located 4 1/2 miles south, 3 miles east and 1/2 mile south of Forman or 3 miles west & 1 1/2 miles south of Rutland.
clean campground, well kept. they are still putting docks in and such since it is the beginning of the season
It is a beautiful spot just a couple miles out of Hawley, perfect place to go if you're looking to go swimming without the crowds! The water does smell and there are a lot of weeds so if you're the squeamish type you will just have to watch out for that.
I have been camping here many years. The place is clean, even the vault toilets which many campgrounds neglect. The prices are reasonable, 10-20 dollars a day, and they are always making improvements.
Wonderful lake. Seems like a nice place to camp too. Beautiful views.
Good recreation location. Shore fishing, fishing piers, boat ramps, public picnic areas, RV/primitive campground (reserve when available), public swimming area, public restrooms, etc.
awesome camping area electrical hook ups and also some of the best staff , sue is always willing to go above and beyond! Dog friendly except on the public beaches but plenty of other place for the fur babies to swim.
