Spaces are very close and small. The pet area is small with pea gravel...too many smells for my dog, and it reeks when it rains. Park is right off Highway 97, and the road noise required closed windows to sleep. The hosts were wonderful people, very apologetic about the person that didn't leave ontime...laundry room is very clean and well maintained. A good place for a single overnight, to recharge for the next off grid adventure.
The gang who manage the park are great!! Laundry room is clean bathrooms all clean. Spaces are small no trees. The train and road are close but not as loud as you would think. It is a safe place and your dog has a fenced-in place to do their business. Overall affordable and not far from all the beautiful central Oregon lakes rivers and sites.
Clean and orderly. No staff on the weekends to handle situations. The bathroom/shower code didn't work for the men's side with no way to resolve it.
A quick review of Newberry RV Park, La Pine, Oregon..
VERY nice helpful couple run the RV Park very well. It is always clean, including bathrooms and laundry room. They are helpful, sincere, hard working, and Judy & I are in good hands!....The area is well lit, clean and very convenient to ALL kinds of areas with forests, lakes, fishing, hiking, skiing...just on & on. Only a 30 minute drive South from City of Bend ( and La Pine is a much more relaxed area ) I saw a harsh review and honestly, I 100% disagreed with the review, so THIS is our opinion on Newberry RV Park....Thank you, Cindy and Greg, for working so hard on all our behalf....Much appreciated!
I was very pleased with this park. It was surprisingly quiet and they really do a good job keeping it clean. The laundry room was spotless at all times! They even have a couple mini community libraries posted up in the park. The couple running the place were very kind and give you plenty of privacy. Highly recommend.
