Snowy River is a micro-park in a residential setting. They have six spaces with full hookups in a very residential setting (meaning in a neighborhood - no long-term 'campers' here). We stayed there largely because it was less than two miles from my parent's place. The RV park appears to have been built into the owner/operators yard area.

The good: Very quiet, full (and plentiful) hookups, cheap ($25/night), convenient to Sunriver and Mt. Bachelor, garbage/recycling area, and relatively easy to access.

The bad: Spaces are uneven, not much grass, no showers, owners are extremely picky about things.

The spaces are pretty long, but the hookups for the water are very low to the ground and the sewer inlets aren't marked very well. You must use caution backing in. They have pressure reducers on the water lines. The spaces aren't paved or graveled really - mostly bark. Speaking of bark, I was 'barked' at for merely considering the idea of rolling - not driving - my ATVs across the 'lawn'. I explained that I wasn't going to drive them - only push them toward the parking lot. The wife was very curt and chastised me for the mere possibility of leaving weed seeds on the lawn. I paused to examine the lawn, which was more like an occasionally mowed native grass population. I elected to pull the camper forward and back in again to keep the peace. The husband - a nice and funny guy - explained that she was somewhat picky about her gardening and the wife later made a similar comment using a more polite tone. I tell this story so prospective RVer's get the proper perspective here: you are camping in somebody's yard that they have set up to support RVs. This is not your average campground.

Overall, it wasn't too bad (+3 stars), save for the scolding I received (-1 star). If you have a good shower/bathroom and just need a quiet place to park for a couple of nights, Snowy River is a good choice.
