I’d save the large amount of unpaved road required to get here. Seriously. It was only OK for birding (perhaps a bad time of year, but I got lots elsewhere during the same time). It’s pretty and out of the way, but just coots there. May be fine for fishing, but I don’t do that. DO NOT attempt to do this and then drive to Great Basin. It’s about 70 miles of unpaved desert road!!!!!! Stay away!
