This is a trailhead for the 4C Hiking Trail. Neches Bluff Overlook, located at the north end of the trail, offers a panoramic view of pine-hardwood forests in the Neches River bottomlands with picnic and primitive camping facilities.
Great hidden campsite. Only downside was the road noise from the nearby highway.

No real river access, but great for pictures!
So peaceful and beautiful. Campsites are well spaced out. It was not busy, there were other campers so you're not completely alone but feels like you are. Roads are dirt/gravel, low ride vehicles might wanna go slow and easy, otherwise not too bad. Pet friendly- on leash. Free camping for 14 days. The closest Walmart is about 20 mins away in Crockett.
Great spot for free camping without much traffic. I was there during a massive storm and had to move a giant tree out of the road to leave but they had ample spots for groups and privacy for loners. Next time I will bring a rake and a weed eater to help clear the spot but a machete did the job this time. If you want nature and privacy this is a great place for both.
