This recreation area is part of Ouachita Lake
Nice place. Didn’t stay at the resort the whole trip and didn’t do everything but it was nice. Nice forest, workers called every day to make sure we were fine, nice spa. We got crystal massages at the spa which was far from check in and didn’t seem to be handicap accessible. Barely any service in the room we were in but that’s mostly okay. Microwave and half sized fridge in room. Lake was kind of far away from rooms and there’s nowhere to sit by the lake; this disappointed my mother
We stayed I a Cabana room. Would not suggest it. Room was nicely decorated but was musty and damp. Even our bed linen was damp. Plus you are under the restaurant. From 630 am untill after 1100 pm very loud. At times could not hear the TV. For 300.00 night it is over priced. Also tried to order food from restaurant at 800 pm ( they don't close until 1000 pm) as paying guest that has just driven there we were told they were not taking to go orders or reservations. It was recommended we go to the convenience store down the road and get a pizza or burger, or we could drive to Mt. Ida. The food we got for dinner was very good. Breakfast on Sunday was not good. Paid over 14.00 for eggs Benedict and the eggs where over done. It was like eating a hard boiled egg on top of toast with hollandaise sauce poured over it.
Mt. Harbor Fesort is a wonderful place for any event or occasion. For your enjoyment and relaxation or, to celebrate with friends and family. It is first class all the way.
Mt Harbor is by far the best run marina/lodge in Arkansas. Their focus on customer service is second to none. Compared to other marinas on other lakes, it is amazing to see the effort everyone from the dockhands, restaurant staff, grounds keepers, to the maintenance staff put into delivering an exceptional experience. All were professional and focused. Yes, you could note the noise from above in the restaurant and one night the salad bar was a little below par, but you cannot deny the pride and effort that the entire group puts into running a family and customer focused business. Some businesses use the Corps rules and regulations as an excuse to minimize their services but these guys do the exact opposite working with the corps to deliver a first class public use lake experience. Other facilities would do well to take note from Mt Harbor resort/Lodge/Marina! Thank you once again!
The staff was really friendly. Seems to be very concerned if everything was to your liking. And definitely was! I would highly recommend staying there good people
