My son and I had a lovely stay at Mother Bosque. We traveled through Albuquerque during our cross country move with our dog and cat. We tent camped in a garden spot that got shade til about ten am, then we moved over to the shaded kitchen area and kept cool. We visited with Mikaela and Ernesto, who were gracious and interesting hosts, and allowed us to spend a few of the hottest hours indoors. They pointed us in the direction of the nearby high school/public pool, and the also nearby nature center/state park. We really felt safe and cared for, like we found an oasis in the desert. Their permaculture garden is beautiful, and is a certified wildlife habitat. We enjoyed flora, hummingbirds and artwork there. The place was clean and it was nice to have a shower and use of laundry facilities after camping for days. Highly recommend supporting this wonderful couple and treating yourself to an unforgettable experience camping in the city.

We stayed there last week while attending an ISA tree climbing championship downtown. The "discount" rate for hotels downtown for ISA members ( like me) was still around $200 a night, which I could not afford. We reserved a spot here instead to tent for two nights. It was only $45 a night! They were actually pretty full with other campers that first night, but they then let us stay in a room in their house instead, for the same rate, and that was just super with my wife, with a bed and close to the bathroom and shower. Even though those other campers cleared out that second night they let us still stay in that room. It had Wi-fi too. She and her husband were very accomodating!

My husband and I camped here- we pitched our tent in their side yard. It is a beautiful backyard and quite comfortable! The price is good for the hospitality as well as being able to use an actual bathroom with a shower that is limited to 3 minutes.

All and all Ernesto was a very nice host and made sure we were comfortable and had everything we needed.

This was an amazing place to stay. Even though I did no get the opportunity to meet Michaela, Ernesto was a very wonderful host. The gardens are beautiful and relaxing. The neighborhood is quiet, Every morning Ernesto me fresh ground coffee and helped me make a plan for the day and I was sent on many beautiful drives I would not have known about if I was residing at a Hotel. You will not regret choosing this wonderful place with these wonderful people as your hosts. Their home is your home while you are here.

Michaela and Ernesto are the best hosts. Their garden is so beautiful and it was amazing to see all the birds freely enjoying the space with us. We loved camping for a night there and definitely recommend it to anybody passing through.
