About Campground

This rustic style campground has 12 sites set at the base of southern New Mexico's tallest mountain. A portion of the site is designed for Group Camping. Don't miss the Three Rivers Petroglyph Site on the way in or out. ACTIVITIES Camping Hiking Horseback Riding Picnicking: Smokey Bear Ranger District picnic area.

It was a nice stop on our way to Guadalupe Mountains National Park from Albuquerque. It has toilets and nice views. We ended up staying here because it is a self serve campground and you can arrive at any time. I recommend stopping at the petroglyph site, so worth it.

This place is not as known as White Sands or Gila, but it has plenty to offer, especially during summer. The campsite is clean and beautiful. The several trails go deep into the Sierra Blanca and there's room for hiking/rock climbing.

One of the best camping 🏕 sites I’ve found near El Paso, TX without feeling like your near El Paso 🤙. Secluded, shaded, trails near by, camp sites are not on top of each other. Host are polite and friendly and willing to work with anyone. (I didn’t take any good photos this trip but here’s a few)

The drive to campsite is on a dirt road. Any vehicle will be able to make it, the road is mainly flat and accessible to all vehicles.
