Great campground!! Very quiet & clean place, beautiful scenery and walking trail with a pond. Mr HL & Mrs Sarah (owners) go above and beyond to make sure their tenants needs are met and are comfortable. Far enough away from town to be peaceful and relaxing yet close enough for things you need. Very clean facilities with washer and dryer access. Wonderful place!

Way over priced. NO FISHING. Not well maintained. Too bad cause the owners seem nice.

I’m very very very disappointed. I called to make a reservation, three weeks in advance for the first of July so my wife and I can enjoy going to the drive-in movie. The owner would not reserve it to me because he wanted to see if he could make more money due to the 4th of July weekend. It’s sad that making more money is more important than providing the service he is in business for. Now I will never stay at this place. Think about how much future money he could have made if we enjoyed the drive-in. I wanted to come back with my kids. Now I will never come back. Good luck Mossy Oaks.

I stayed here for 2 solid months with my two teen boys.

The campground itself is beautiful & I did enjoy that part.

However, I was laying down and HL... The owner comes & bangs on my camper door to inform me that I am being thrown out.

Why you ask? Because someone I was friends with got into a verbal altercation with another camper. H.L threw them out & then demanded that I get out ASAP.

The other 2 campers even said, I had nothing to do with it .

Then, he threatened to keep my rent money.. I just paid him the day before. He ended up giving it back but didn't offer any real reason why I had to leave.

I had no where to go..

He informed me with his sheriff son that was standing behind him with his pistol ready to go.

Mind you, I have not had one issue in the campground or with the owners, EVER!

So, my kids and I are at Walmart parking lot with no where to go.

There were rumors going around not to tell H.L any issues cause he will throw anyone out for any reason.. it's true!!!

I really thought they were nice church going older couple .but, boy was I wrong!

I still can't believe this happened to me..

This is really the worse experience I've ever had in my life! Be throw out like garbage for no reason!!!

They call themselves Christians. What a joke!

Very nice secluded campground located close enough to town to run in for supplies and far enough away to forget town is there. Plenty of space for various sized campers and the owner even has a few rentals. HL (the owner) takes great care of the grounds and facilities which include washers, dryers, private restroom/shower facility and a camper only fish pond. The only downside for me was my phone signal was a little spotty. I hope to have the opportunity to return in the future.
