Recommended route to the campground as GPS may direct you to a dead-end road: Take Townsend/Cox Road to the intersection with Barrington Road (avoid Orchard & Cemetary Roads). Take Barrington Road to Barrington Park Road.
We enjoyed staying here for two days. It's quite, pet friendly, nice river, and I had a ok AT&T service here. Shower is hot and free.( but old and looks dirty , there is no doors, only curtains)
Beautiful place to stay BUT the people around us were not very considerate of other campers. Loud and annoying barking dogs all day and the owners weren't any better. We had 3 dogs and you wouldn't know it if you didn't see them outside on a leash. If you want to stay here, just keep in mind the weather and holidays. We stayed the week of New Year's and it was told to us they were planning a big party that night so we took off before all of that started!
Very nice free campground on a river they will check you in and take your information when you get there. The majority of the property is fenced in so make sure you forage for wood before you get there. There is none. They have hot showers the restrooms are not in the best condition but it's free what do you want.
Love this place! I have so much appreciation for the folks that manage this campground. The woman that welcomed us was so friendly. We stopped on a road trip for a night's sleep in our camper truck and it was safe and sound. There's a lake with a dock for boats as well.
