Bare bones camping. Quiet, except for traffic on main road and occasional in flight noise. Camp Host, Nate, was very sociable and informative, always smiling and waving as we would pass! He was very informative on what was available on base . Didn’t mind the drive to the laundry, clean and easy to use with bank card.
It's a very average to below average campground. It did the job for us since we were just passing through and wanted to spend a couple days checking out Savannah. The grounds are kept up much of at all. We are a 42' 5th wheel and barley squeezed in spot 5 (no fire pit on that spot). We would go again for the convenience and the price, just wish they would clean up the area some. No bathrooms, picnic tables are cemented in,and there is a grill on each site.
