From jct I-95 (exit 109) & Hwy 21: Go 1/2 mi N on Hwy 21, then 3 mi W on Hwy 30, then 2 mi N on Hodgeville Rd.
Non of the pictures are of the actual campgrounds. Right off of US1 . Newer site always full.
A little hard to find, but worth the hunt. Just past mile marker 16 heading North on US1. Very clean and well organized.
Wonderful hosts, great location for paddling the Okefenokee Swamp; about 1/4 mile from the Kingfisher Landing. I enjoyed the relaxing atmosphere.
Beautiful, quite rustic campground. With the kindest owners who run it. RV problems on the road are a nite mare .
Which is what happend to us on the way home from a weekend trip. I Googled campgrounds near me and up popped Whispering Pines we so blessed to have the little gem in the middle of no where. Not only did Sharon and Leo let us have a spot for us but offered all the help we needed .They hooked us up with people who could help out. We are looking forward to visiting again under less stressful situation. Thank you Sharon and Leo for all your help. We will be back.
