My family needed a place to stay for a short time while our daughter played Softball in Savannah. Please do not let the reviews steer you away from this super cute, safe, quiet park. We had a shaded, level spot and I can’t get over how quiet the park was even being close to full, near a busy street and having neighbors on both sides there is plenty of room between spots to give you space, privacy and there was little to no road noise.

We arrived a little later but I called ahead and they worked with us. (Shocker what being proactive can get you these days)The husband was super nice and actually took my husband by golf cart to show him where our spot was, how to easily get in/out of our spot and how we needed to be positioned. My husband and I both appreciated this, and it’s really something that never happens anymore. Most campgrounds you pay, get a map with a circle and directions and you’re on your own after that. He wanted to make sure we were good with everything before he turned us loose. He even brought us back a couple books on the area even though we didn’t have much time to explore. I hate I didn’t get to meet his wife in person, after the reviews I read I sure wanted to see for myself but with our multiple phone conversations I had zero complaints she was straightforward to the point and didn’t waste time! Again something most people would appreciate ! I just don’t get why people have such an issue with listening and following directions, we did it and have zero complaints on the staff or campground. The only thing I can say is if mosquitoes like you, bring spray or a light…being in the shade and under the trees a few found us but again nothing they can do about them and I’d deal with them again to have the shade! Grounds were maintained and both nights we had rain showers which may have contributed to the mosquitoes again outside of their control. So do yourself a favor and give them a chance, if you have a brain, a little common sense, and can follow directions, you’ll be just fine!

Nasty nasty customer service. Would not stay here for free just based on the principle! We have been traveling around the country for three years and sometimes had to change our prebooked reservations and always found the RV parks quite accommodating. Well, not at the Biltmore RV Park. In the morning heading out from Charlotte NC for our prebooked stay of 3 nights our RV fifth wheel literally lost a wheel off the axle while on the highway. Yes, it was scarry, but nobody got hurt. It was around 9:30am. We knew this was a major breakdown, so we asked for a refund since it was hard to know are time frame for getting it fixed and we had a wedding to make in Tampa farther down the line. The answer back by the women was quite nasty with no concern about what had happened. Her response was it was not her fault, and her policy is no refunds. I even asked if she could keep one night’s payment and refund the two nights. She would not consider it. At that point I had to move on and just focus on getting us back on the road. Three days with a significant amount of stress and money we were ready to roll. At this point we realized we could still squeeze in the three nights in Savanah and tried calling the Biltmore to see if something could be worked out. Again, more nasty attitude and the best we could do is have one night stay there. In the end the negativity was so heavy that we booked our 3-night stay at the Red Gate Farm RV Resort 1.6 miles down the road. The nice part of the story is The Red Gate is one of the nicest RV parks we have stayed at in our entire 3 years of traveling! I would not want to have anything to do with this woman who was nasty, rude, inconsiderate unwelcoming and showed no compassion. Not a way to represent the RV Life. Do yourself a favor and book your stay at the Red Gate Farm RV Resort.
