Love this close for all these years and can't believe how neat it is here....
My family grew up here every summer in the 70's and 80's. Made allot of friends here and remember the community love and worship and fun here. My granddaddy and daddy helped build a lot of the cabins here and had maybe for of them for the family. Horseshoes, food, and homemade ice cream. Fun and activities for all ages. Those were the good days. Still have old pictures. Remember the gospel groups and old-time country services and children service's that help mold my generation of kids. Miss this kind of love in my life and will never forget it. Would love to see it come back?
If this is the same place that I went to, it is not a campground. Established in 1869, it has all cabins like a kids youth camp. There isn't any camper lots or anything like that!
