Come enjoy peace and quiet with lakefront property on the Bass Capital of the World, Lake Seminole. A public dock is located less than a mile down the road for you to drop your boat. Bring your family and friends, or come and enjoy the serenity of the outdoors and lake like in Southwest Georgia. We can't wait to host you!
Plenty of short and extended stay. Friendly organized office personnel. Never had issues. This is a great stop over while on road trip or
as for me I’m a Night Shift travel nurse and this was a great spot good price and adequate space for my needs to sleep and work. Nice neighbors quiet overall any day of week! I stayed for 11 months used a spot under trees for limited sun during hot summer months so shade helped keep power bill down. I missed having a area for picnic table so I moved to a middle slot in sun that had a cement platform Picnic table and fire ring for late summer and fall not as level as first site. Summer months clean pool and fun. Small playground. Trains close by but once a day sometimes 2 not horrible I got used to them to sleep during the day. The highway traffic is more notice able but still tolerable.
They are replacing picnic tables and upgrading adding fire rings to sites, clean and well kept. Strict dog n leash rule but appropriate. As a dog owner dogs need run time and so many campers have dogs……My one wish would be if they could create a fenced dog run area that could allow dogs to run free with owner like “dog park” (not any park close).
All in all would recommend and would return whenever in the area again! Thanks for 354 days/nights of peaceful campground life.
We wish we could have stayed longer! Very nice folks and the park is in great condition. Well kept up.
The rv sites are level, spacious and shady. The pool and laundry facilities are in good condition. Quiet. Close to stores and restaurants. We will be back.
We didn't have the camping experience that we wanted. :( Should've researched more. Biggest disappointment when these boomer campground owners dont care about the next generations' comfort or needs. Did they ever? lol Some places are modernized to suit people who actually have responsibilities and need services. When their's no cell service, no wifi, and very compact, it makes the experience lackluster and frustrating. I guess people live here long-term, which is not desirable for many who stay for a short-term period. It's a pretty campground on the surface, but a bit outdated in practices, and their website demonstrates that and their attitude towards young people.
We loved Lake Pines. This hidden gem is a definite stay when we are in the area. I know you will not find another like it around. The bath house is kept clean and laundry house is easy to use. If you don’t have quarters no worries, b/c the house has rolled quarters for you. The office staff is the best and easiest to work with. The walking trails and walk around the park is really a delight. It’s definitely a place worth staying if you have the time.
Great RV Park! Highly recommend!
Staff member, Justin, was extremely helpful! He happily answered all my questions regarding local attractions,RV repairman, and more! It is a clean, quiet, safe resort with nice pool during season, laundry facility, along with beautifully decorated holiday clubhouse that is just wonderful! Kenny and Connie, the owners are working owners, very friendly and accommodating. 5 star place!
