This is one of our 10 favorite campgrounds. We have stayed here a number of times and always look forward to our next stay. Really nice hardware store in town, excellent bakery that serves delicious hot breakfasts and a wonderful quilt store. Up the canyon is the disappearing river. This is a complete wonder to behold...100' wide river just disappears into a giant hole and reappears down river 100 yards spouting up out of the river's lava bed. It never gets old to behold.

Easy to get to off the highway a few miles. Loved being backed right up to the Boulder river with some sizable fish. Hosts were terrific in checking us in to the campground. Took a star away for 'the tight sites to neighbors and rocky fill. We stayed there in a 37' TT and it was just long enough a site to accommodate us but had to disconnect. We would stay there again.

It was our first visit but won't be our last. The entire property was well maintained. The office staff was friendly and the campsites are are nicely spaced from each other. Our site #13 backed right up to the Boulder River and was very nice. They also had a very clean bathroom and shower as well. Close to town, but far enough away to feel secluded.

UPDATE: Just spend another weekend there and it was nice as ever. Even with rain showers, the place was beautiful. The staff on site is terrific and it's just so quiet and peaceful. We're planning another stay in September.

Spring Creek is a perfect campground. We reserved two spots next to each other. Beautiful location right on the river if you choose or others set back a bit. Nice fire pit, spacious lots and enough trees to provide shade if you need it.

Want to stay here again next year!

We loved our time at Spring Creek. Spacious tent sites nd right by the river. We camped here early October and were the only people occupying one of the tent sites. We got in after hours and found an information booklet left for us at reception with our names on it and a map drawn out to our campsite, which was a nice touch. The campground host was reachable at their RV site and they were SO NICE! We didn't have any firewood and they rustled some up for us and delivered it to our site free of charge. The bathrooms and showers were immaculate and an absolute pleasure after being on the road for days. Highly recommend!!
