The campground is decent- depending on the site you book. However the bathrooms, while cleaned- are tiny and subpar. Also make sure to solidify your booking before arrival. We booked a campsite for a week with 2 dogs- decided not to bring the dogs- we were charged $10/day for the dogs even though they weren't there. The staff was great- owners were super rude and unflexible.
Although this RV park is only 8 miles from west Yellowstone entrance, the path is on loose gravel dirt road which means long slow drive to the RV park (30 minutes). Also can’t enjoy the lake because you get attacked by mosquitoes.
We stayed here during our visit to Yellowstone. This campsite is not far away, and the staff was very friendly (including the dogs). Sites for tent camping and RV camping are available, and many sites sit right next to a lake for a great view and fishing. Amenities for camping are great as well with a bathroom, laundry room, and small store. Hope to visit again in the future!
We loved this place. It’s off the beaten path, and so quiet and peaceful with breezes through the pines and views and access to the lake. The owners and staff are top notch. The cabin we had was fully furnished and clean with wireless connectivity which allowed me to do some work. It’s also only about 8 miles from the west entrance of Yellowstone. If we make it back, we would stay again!
Our family decided to take an RV and go see a string of national parks, we rented and this stop was about halfway through our trip. Everyone here was absolutely amazing. The staff was so nice and so helpful. It is next to a beautiful lake, and not far from the West Yellowstone entrance. Definitely bring bug spray, but you're missing out if you do not stay here.
