Unfortunately it is too crowded up there now. It is still beautiful but we could hardly find anywhere to park. There was no enjoying yourself away from everyone because it was packed full of people when we went. It is a fun place for the kids to fish and catch frogs. You will have a good time if your ok with lots of company.
It can be pretty packed most of the time. But it's still a quiet and lovely place to go. If you want to relax alone or with a few friends this is definitely the place. There are lots if picnic tables by the lakeside if you want to just spend the day fishing and snacking, and there are plenty of campsites for rent just a little further up. There are water pumps there but no trash cans, so be prepared with a few trash bags of your own if you need to dispose of stuff. Very fun time outdoors!
Its quiet and scenic. The lake is a decent size and theres a hiking trail.
Beautiful place. It's finally Starting to recover from The Sick trees being taken out. It is a very popular place. You better get here early to get a good spot.
