We stopped here for over night. It was very accommodating. We had a 43 ft motorhome plus a 24 ft trailer, and we didn't have to detach! There is not much to say about the town. It is a very modest railroad town. The IGA was absolutely fantastic. Everything was arranged perfectly. Nothing out of place. We didn't visit the courthouse. The owner of the campground takes cash only. There is not much room to take dogs for a walk, but it is a great spot for overnight stay.
Quiet, cozy little campground. We needed a spot for one night, and the nice lady who owns this was so helpful and sweet about getting us in. It's a small, no frills place, full hookups and an older bathhouse with one shower and a couple stalls (note, there's no doors on the stalls, just a curtain so not a ton of privacy but it serves its purpose). It's an older facility and shows, but it was a nice place. There's a few trailers there that are obviously full time residents, but they're clean and well maintained. It is cash or personal check only. I would definitely recommend if you're just in need of a quiet safe spot for a night or two.
Wagon Wheel was me and my fiance's home for 7 months. We were there for work and we cannot explain how thankful we were for our stay here. Bobby is the owner, and one of the sweetest ladies you will ever meet. She was extremely accommodating and took care of us while we were there. We used the shower house daily for four months, had full hook ups the whole time, and had a spacious spot. There is grass around, trees, a loop to make moving your camper around very easy, and close to town. We will definitely stay here again if in the area. We are thankful for our long term stay here and considered it home.
