This fishing access site is located along the scenic upper Yellowstone River approximately 20 miles north of Yellowstone National Park. Facilities: Boat Ramp, Restrooms, Parking Area, Picnic Tables, Grills.
From US Highway 89, approximately 34 miles south of Livingston, turn right on Tom Miner Road. After 100 yards, turn right into the site.
Great spot, good views, good launchpad for Yellowstone or fishing the river. Very windy, though, so make sure you've got your tent stakes.
But here's the thing: people trashing this place are the reason there's a limited number of sites now. So pack out your junk and quit swiping toilet paper, or we can expect it to become a fee area in the future.
Great spot, lots of space between spots and right on Yellowstone river. Cons no AT&T cell service.
This is one of those places I almost don't want to review and draw attention to. It's amazing and I've yet to get out and explore. Facilities seem well maintained. Please, for the love of all things nature, pack in - pack out. Reviews would be much more forthcoming if folks didn't ruin one secret after another shared. I guess people will be people.
