River access site located on the Wild and Scenic Middle Fork of the Flathead River. This river access site is located adjacent to Bear Creek Trailhead and has designated parking area, vault toilet, and a boat slide for accessing the river.
Approximatly 58 miles east of Hungry Horse, MT on US Highway 2 East.
Great lil spot for a rest and quick lunch while on the road, plenty of room for an RV.

I visited this spot while driving out west from Maine in August of 2020. It has captured my heart forever. It is so beautiful and peaceful. The water was so very cold but felt so wonderful. I have videos on my phone that I still watch frequently. I truly miss this spot and the Middle Fort Flathead River flows through my heart forever.
What a great place to just sit and watch fly fishing and enjoy the sounds of nature. The river is stunning.
