My kids and I frequent this location many times in the summer. There's a nice sandy shore and it doesn't drop off too quickly. Great place for swimming, canoeing, kayaking, paddle boarding, jet skiing, boating and if you're really nice, us locals MIGHT tell you where the rope swing is. ;) The log jam at the mouth of the river below, by the bar, is actually my kids favorite. There's a deep spot for jumping on the far end. There are portapotties on sight. Ramp for boat launch. Bar is super close and they have food as well. Burgers and fries.

We went on a river rafting trip with my husbands work, MISSION MOUNTAIN RAILROAD. We had a blast! It was breathtaking! The water was a tranquil blue/green color and cold, but not so cold that it kept us from jumping off of the small cliffs and rocks to enjoy its refreshing effect it had on us.

The views were just amazing and gorgeous.

I wish we'd done this more throughout the summer. Will definitely be doing it again next year... more than once!
