This has become our favorite lake because there is a lot of public access beaches. However, it is a popular spot, so you have to get there early. Beautiful, crystal clear water, perfect temperature in the summer.
Nice place if you can find a spot.
*update* To those of you that come here and decide to leave your garbage bags, please don't come back.
The campground is on a state owned piece of land. No fees to camp there. So you just have to show up and see if there is a spot. It's usually full. Only about six camp spots. They don't maintain the road, so it's huge holes and mounds and barely navigable. One forest service outhouse up by the entry.
