Located 5 miles from Republic, WA. From Hiway 20 (Sherman Pass) take a right on Hiway 21 at Cenex Station heading towards Curlew Lake, go 2.5 miles, take a left on West Curlew Lake Road. From Tonasket, at stop sign in Downtown Republic, take a right to Hiway 21 JCT (Cenex Station), go left on 21 for 2.5 miles, left on West Curlew Lake Road. Winchester RV Park is 1/2 block on the right.
This place is so amazing . It is beautiful. Grass was beautiful. It is tent camping and r.v camping . The bathrooms were so clean . There showers there are so great you get really good hot water . The staff is super nice and so helpful . If you ever need anything they are right there to help you . Every spot has its own barbeque in each tent spot and cabin . There is also a huge kitchen for everyone to use . I would recommend everyone coming the this resort for there camping . And wait till you see the inside of the office. I really is amazing I will leave that one out will have to see for your self.
We stumbled upon this gem enroute home to Canada. What a wonderful find!! This RV park is immaculate and has everything you need. Clean , hot showers, laundry, campfire rings with lovely Adirondack chairs , spacious RV spots with trees surrounding. Honestly I can't say enough. Added bonus that it is situated right on the Ferry County Rail Trail path. We had a beautiful bike ride up to the end of Curlew Lake. Definitely recommend this park. The operators are super friendly as well!
We lived as a fulltime RV family for a few years, and this was by far our favorite park we’d stayed in. It’s a kid friendly place with a cute playground, gazebo with picnic tables, horseshoe pits, and yard checkers. The facilities (showers, bathroom, and laundry) stay clean and taken care of. The RV spots are paved with large trees to provide shade. The owners and staff make this place feel like home! They’re lovely people and so friendly to meet all our needs. It’s a very peaceful place. We also loved that it connected to the Ferry county rail trail! I couldn’t say enough good things about Winchester :)
This is by far the nicest campground/RV park I've ever stayed in! We are tent campers. This park has beautifully manicured, perfectly LEVEL tent sites plus spotless washrooms and a nicely equipped cookhouse! The RV sites are also lovely with a big tree at each site. The entire place is obviously lovingly cared-for, quiet and a perfect place to relax. Being right next to the rail trail is an added bonus and Curlew Lake is only a few minutes away. We'll definitely be back.
I’m giving this place a one star review just because we traveled from out of town and we’re misled by office personnel. I was able to get a room but my friend coming from 3 hrs away was told he had a room and did not need a reservation then they booked it out from underneath him, and he was not able to make a reservation that would accommodate his party of 3 causing us to cut our ice fishing trip short. So, just poor customer service! Cabin was clean,showers were clean, and cook house was clean. Everything was on point just bad customer service! Don’t think I’ll be staying again!
